Deprenyl use as an antidepressant and for life extension is now widely proclaimed after a number of animal experiments have confirmed its longevity potential. Deprenyl increases the availability of dopamine by acting as a selective MAO-B inhibitor and has an aphrodisiac effect for some.  Parkinson and Alzheimer's disease patients are often treated with very high doses of about 2 tablets daily.

Deprenyl tablets are deprenyl hydrochloride, which is deprenyl bonded to an inorganic molecule.  Deprenyl citrate liquid is deprenyl bonded to an organic molecule and is the most pure and potent form of deprenyl available.  Each liquid drop is equivalent to 1mg deprenyl citrate.
