This topical lotion is applied to the scalp to increase blood supply to the hair follicle and promote new hair growth. It contains a topical solution of minoxidil at 3% strength combined with retinolic acid 0.025% and Saw Palmetto 3%.
Retinoic acid has been shown to be a potent improver of blood supply to the skin surface and Saw Palmetto is known to help prevent the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (a known cause of balding). The synergistic combination of these products can increase the overall ability of minoxidil alone by 2 to 4 times.
MinSaw-A® is best if used as often and as early as possible to prevent further hair loss.
Apply MinSaw-A® to the balding areas on a nightly basis. MinSaw-A® should be avoided if you suffer from low blood pressure or are allergic to alcohol or propylene glycol (the only two other ingredients).
For enhanced synergy Nizoral® Shampoo and Dercos® are also recommended.
